4 ~ Tuesday- Montalcino, Sant’Antimo, Pienza

We will begin our day in the ancient village of Montalcino. This small village is home to sangiovese grosso grapes. It is these grapes that make one of the finest red wines in all Italy, Brunello di Montalcino.
Next is Pienza, a small village looking out over the spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside. We will visit the monastery of Sant'Antimo. Originally built in Carolingian times, the present abbey church boasts a Romanesque edifice of the early 12th century. The Monk's Gregorian chanting can be heard from inside throughout the day.

3 ~ Monday- Old Artisan pasta factory, Winery tour with lunch, Terracotta workshop and kiln tour

We'll visit an historical Artisanal pasta factory open since 1893 . Then we will visit a winery with an astonish view. Back to Impruneta for our tour of Terracotta Kiln. You will never see terracotta the same as you discover what an amazing art it really is. Activity Level - Moderate

6 ~ Thursday, San Gimignano & Siena
Departing: 9,00 am - Returning Time 6,30 pm
We will drive through the countryside to see the beautiful tower village of San Gimignano. This charming town became what you see now during the 10th century. Climb the bell tower for the most spectacular view of the Tuscan Countryside! Continuing on to Siena, visiting the cathedral and Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful piazzas in all of Italy.

1 ~ Saturday- Arrive at Bellavista-Impruneta Hotel (7 miles from Florence)
Begin your week at the charming Bellavista Hotel in the quaint village of Impruneta. Take some time to get settled in, then in the evening, we will take a short drive to Piazzale Michelangelo to see the sun setting over Florence and have Dinner. After Dinner we will return to Bellavista for some much needed rest.

5 ~ Wednesday, Pisa and Lucca

Today we will see the famous Tower of Pisa and finish off the day in Lucca. Lucca is one of Tuscany’s real gems. A wonderful place to walk around and experience the culture and atmosphere of being in Italy. Climb the Torre delle Ore clock tower or the Guinigi Tower. With its hanging garden on the top, it offers an outstanding panorama of the city.

2 ~ Sunday- The Chianti and Monteriggioni
Departing: 9:00 am - Returning Time 6:00 pm
After enjoying your breakfast at Bellavista, we will drive through the Chianti, home to the most well-known Italian red wine in the world. Extending over the provinces of Florence and Siena and covering all of the area between. We'll end our day in Monteriggioni, a walled town, known for its medieval fortifications and watchtowers.

This is the day you will depart from Bellavista-Impruneta Hotel to return home. You are more than welcome to come sooner or stay longer!

Today is your free day to shop and tour Florence- We will give you all the information you need about the sites and how to get around the city. We will assist you with all of your museum reservations and the top sites to see, and book a guide for you on request. This is a perfect chance to get all of that last minute shopping done. Florence has everything!
